Was musing ideas around again and what ifs and I came up with something for Chara.
Like when did Chara go evil? Was he always that bad? Thinking about it more I kinda wondered, maybe this wasn’t the first time Chara ‘the demon’ was reborn.
If he’s a representation of what we feel gaining EXP and Lv., maybe he was there during the war. Huge what if scenario with no backing, but what if he was killed during the war?
So something I always toyed ideas with is why in the opening, it looks like Asgore facing humans from a time probably hundreds of years ago–
but present time they have internet and modern day things.
I know for one thing, Toriel and Asgore at at least a few hundred years old because: The game’s lore specifically states two things - Boss monsters only age when their children do, therefore Asgore and Toriel do not age and are very old, as confirmed by the turtle shopkeep. (wiki)
Alright, so that means that when Asriel was born, both were conscious of what that meant for them. Question I wondered was, when did the tragic incident happen?
Someone asked why Undyne was in my flashback comic, and I answered:
Asgore and Toriel won 1st place in the 98’ nose nuzzling championship insinuating they were together at least then, and that Dogamy and Dogaressa were around at that point to compete. Pretty sure Undyne is older than 17, or at least older than Dogamy and Dogaressa.”
So basically what I’ve figured for my own story stuff, Asgore and Toriel were in a happy relationship for hundreds of years underground, and only more recently had a child that they lost, then split up because of the aftermath.
holy shit that is much more sad the more I think about it.

Yeah, she does currently. She probably just at one point had a crush on epic divorce man and it passed, as many crushes do
I’ve noticed a bunch of people ship her with Undyne, so I was just wondering. Right now I’m at the portion where Undyne finally attacks you outside the cave/mountain thing, and I’ve noticed that she mentions Alphys during the battle, so that made me think that they must have ties to each other.
other hints to bi/pan alphys: in the true lab, there’s a log about her making mettaton’s new body but having trouble because she keeps getting sweaty.
