Relics of bygone eras litter the world, untouched by the people of Eorzea and beyond. Tomes containing forbidden spells of Mhachi sorcery, void-touched blades, and ancient Allagan Constructs of unimaginable power are but the tip of such relics, a taste of the knowledge and power hidden within the realm. The leaders of Eorzea would leave them in the mud, hidden away if only in fear of what they do not understand. But one collective drives to unearth these items, in the pursuit of knowledge, power, and prosperity so that they might share them with the world (and to the highest bidder): The Exchange.
The Exchange, to the public eye, is an archaeological excavation team looking to uncover the mysteries of the past that they might better the future of the world. However, to those familiar with the underground, the company has a much more clandestine purpose. The Exchange believes in sharing these antiquities with equally open and inquisitive minds - for the right price, of course. Instead of handing their findings over to the powers that be, so that they might be locked away in a vault or put on display in a museum, the company seeks to truly share their knowledge with the world by selling it to the highest bidder. Items of vast and unimaginable power make for rather impressive coin, and excavations don’t come cheap.
We the collective of The Exchange seek others as insatiable, that long for veracity, who desire to discover powerful truths. Arise from the horde of ignorance and above the deceptive fog of the Eorzean’s censorship - that which prevents you from seeing and understanding the truth. Join us in unveiling the secrets of the past, the undiscovered, and the long since forbidden so that we as a people can grow toward a more prepared future. Those who understand that knowledge is power – contact us. We want you on our team, here at The Exchange.
The Exchange is a rank 8, chaotic evil, heavy roleplay free company on the Mateus realm, based on an organization of freelance ‘knowledge-seekers’ that specialize retrieving and recovering rare antiquities and then selling them on the underground market to further forbidden Allagan sciences, unbeknownst to the public.
We own a large mansion in Shirogane, and are working hard towards our first airship, which is going quite smoothly. We have events planned, and story lines ready to go, and plan on hosting our grand opening very soon.
We’re currently recruiting a bit to bolster our ranks before we get into anything too deep, and are looking for scientists, archaeologists, criminals and house employees! Not sure if your character quite fits our theme? Please, contact us and we can talk about it and work something out! We’re very open to suggestions and ideas.

I’m sure most people are aware of the shootings that happened early this morning (around 2am) at Pulse in Orlando, Florida. As a queer person who not only lives in Orlando, but as someone who literally went to high school and grew up one block over from Pulse, I want to put out some super awesome resources for the internet to take advantage of! Please remember that last night was specifically Latin Night, so not only was this an anti-LGBTQIA+ act of violence, it was also an anti-latinx act of violence. I grew up in this area, and I visited Pulse multiple times, and it was most definitely a predominantly latinx/black club. This attack was carefully planned, I have no doubts about this.
Want to donate, but not sure where to donate/where is reliable?
Zebra Coalition; a GREAT place that helps out LGBTQIA+ with all sorts of issues. They pointed me in a direction to help me financially when I was homeless. http://zebrayouth.org/get-involved/donate-now/

Want updates? [All of these sites have some sort of political bias and agenda unfortunately but I tried pulling together sites that are updating in real time on the topic]
that’s right kiddos, they’re trying to use automatic updates to force your computer to upgrade to win 10.
Which would be fine and dandy if every windows user in the world ran a standard operating environment but they fucking don’t and this will break a lot of computers.
To stop this for win 7: Go to your control panel, select Windows Updates. Click on Change Settings. Pick any option you like except ‘install updates automatically’ (Personally I use “download but let me choose” as M$ has a nasty habit of breaking things with unnecessary patches, but then again I know this shit backwards, so YMMV)
If you’re running win XP: Stop punishing yourself.
Signal boost for anyone who might have this option on.
I don’t, but I elected to upgrade my Surface to 10 and have regretted it. No way in hell I’d want it on my desktop machine.
P.S.: fuck Canon also for refusing to make drivers for slightly older printers on Win10. Win10 acts like it has all the answers drivers, but it doesn’t. Even if you want to upgrade, check printer compatibility before you do or you may end up with devices you can’t use with that computer anymore.
Boosting. Windows 10 completely broke my machine because not all of my hardware was compatible with it. Which is a really common thing. If your hardware works with 10, it’s fukkin great. But if it doesn’t, your computer will explode.
Double checked to make sure the install wasn’t on my hard drive at all. It took forever to get all the drivers working when I first got windows 7 that was out for awhile.
So lately, I obtained RPG Maker MV, and I’ve been spending a lot of time on it. A few years back I tried my hand first with RPG maker 2000, (Yes, that many years back ;-;) and now I’ve decided to give it another shot.
I’m curently looking for a few people to give it a try and tell me their opinions, whether they be bugs, or comments or suggestions, or whatever. I plan on updating the game every week or so, and adding more to it as I go along while fixing bugs that testers might have found from the previous version.
Long story short, putting my fantasy
role-playing video game on display for showcasing, and hoping a few bored people can give it a try. I’ve got a number of cameos of friends and others in it, so you might even recognize someone you know. (I use the term loosely, as it’s not their character, just an adaptation of their character(s))
