The Mad King’s Clock Tower jumping puzzle advice

So this jumping puzzle is one of the harder ones to get used to. It has platform surfaces that are not flat, areas you character can get snagged on making you lose precious seconds, and the rising mist makes it timed.

When you reach the first cog where you must wait a few seconds. The hit box for the cog platform that bursts out activates as soon as the camera shakes, thus why you can see me jump a bit early.

After this point you have to speed as FAST as possible to the leap of faith jump where you fall a couple stories. Getting stuck on an edge or simply stopping a moment to correct yourself can cost you this section. I think what makes this difficult in particular for players not so used to timed jumping puzzles is you really can’t stop. You have to judge your jumps as best you can and keep moving.

You can slow down a bit towards the very end if you get enough distance between the mist though.

The very last jump, I usually go for the final leap as soon as I see the lightning strike. If you jump when the window is directly in front of you, you won’t make it in time.

Hope that helps lol.
