So I’ve been messing with the newfound float lofts and stuff anywhere glitch, and I’m stoked with what I was able to build last night! The loft is downstairs in my cottage and I’m just happy I’m not locked to just using window sills anymore lol.
Here’s a link to the guides, and it takes some getting used to. Sometimes I had to change the angle I was trying to float at to get it to stick properly. I’m hype to see what people do with this!
Still trying things with my decor but I’m at a good stopping point for now I think

@tarajenkins let me play around decorating Inspector Hildibrand’s house, so was experimenting a bit. She REALLY like aquariums but honestly I had no idea how to work multiple tier 4 tanks into a small house. This designer on housingsnap had a really cool setup I wanted to try out but made some changes. I liked that extra corner of space with 3 lined up tanks and kinda wanted a den sort of feel, thus why there’s a greg game down here with some Gold Saucer stuff. (and a painting corner for Nashu)
Also wanted a mini vault full of gold, and just added a friend in there.
Once they add mannequins I think it would be really cool to have some lined up with some of Hildibrand’s disguises!
Can tell we were READY for the namazu NPCs lol. Restaurant area decorated by @tarajenkins, I just dyed stuff, crafted a lot of stuff, and put the good boys on stools lolol.

So the new <NPC> home is MOSTLY done! Still need one of the new MGP items when its released and namazu items for the downstairs restaurant– but here we are so far!
95% of the decor was all @tarajenkins, sadly my comp has bad load issues so she reworked upstairs multiple times so it wasn’t as jarring. I floated a bunch of moogles and re-hid the mandragora family lolol(Easter egg tradition we’ve carried on, if you visit you should try to find them all!).
I’m mainly excited for the moogle workshop since we have much more room. @tricerabeth has def gotten a lot of crafting done since we put it in so I’m hype to see it being used. I’ll be super neat once we’re 100% done, and we’re almost there! :D

and it fits perfectly into a dodo nest. There’s even a part of the next that’s lower that the tail sticks out lmao
