I’m not sure how many times I have to link sources that prove the Crewniverse’s interpretation of Pearl includes being okeydoke imagining her with another gender, therefore, making bisexual headcanons perfectly plausible. I do love the way those sources are persistently ignored in favor of parroting the same thing over and over and over again, although the sources kinda throw a massive wrench in it. And by “love”, I mean “shaking my head”.

This fixation on forcing one interpretation on others is baffling. Why do you do it? What do you gain? Some bizarre dominance points? Kissass with the oh-so-cool kids who suicide baited no less than FOUR people in this fandom? Do you lose sleep, knowing someone is out there you can’t control? Does your existence hinge on the whims of my imagination?

By the way, Korrasami are canonly bisexual, stated flat-out by Bryan. Not lesbian. Seems you have trouble seeing that there is more than “gay” or “straight” in general. But hey, a lot of HEADCANONS see them as lesbian, and you know what? I don’t hunt down those people and demand they conform to what I interpret. I don’t run a bunch of hateblogs to echo chamber myself and make it seem I have more backing than I do. Nor do I encourage people to spam and harass ship tags. Funny how “actually this character is lesbian, not bi” headcanons never draw the raw hatred that a bisexual headcanon–for a character with an unconfirmed sexuality–does. Or, excuse me, what’s that, the old “calling her bisexual just so you can ship her with a man”? That’s biphobic as hell. Don’t do that. Your little line of “another grody dude with a lesbian who “sees the light” already sounds bad enough, if you were implying Rose and Greg. Bisexuality isn’t some disease, stop acting like it’s a terrible tragedy to befall a character.

I also find it very interesting that always, always, ALWAYS, people cry Pearl is the “THE lesbian” of the show. So, uh. Ruby and Sapphire, who kiss, who flirt, who are wholly devoted to one another. who also have an amazing romantic children’s book, don’t cut it, huh? I wonder why that is.

You aren’t “evil”, but you do need to realize there is more than “gay” and “straight”, and we have as much right to headcanon shit as anyone else. You also need to learn it is not your place to try to stop us. You can keep repeating the same thing, Lord knows the anti-shippers do, but the creators indicate otherwise–and quite frankly, they have more clout than any of you. Rebecca Sugar says “pair everyone with everyone else”. You say “pair only those I personally approve of”. Her deal is way better.

Go focus on your own interpretation of the show. Amazingly, mine actually does not affect yours in any way, I promise, and like any other tired-ass anti, you are the only one trying to say what others can and can’t ship. Your headcanons are cool with me. Return the fucking favor, or at least ignore me and move on with your life.
