Our FC gets flak sometimes from some folks for playing NPCs, but I do not think they understand what an EVEN MORE AMAZING game this is when the WoL is one of your faves lmao

and hilarious when shit like this happens. I will say seeing Briar in a the Heavensward/SB Hildy questline is great, and he’s a REALLY sassy WoL.
I was going to put this vent under a cut, but eh. It happened again. Dearest denizen of FFXIV-Roleplayers, is there a reason why you still choose to spam your emote disgust at someone who 1) does not have an RP tag on or 2) has not so much as targeted you while they are browsing the marketboard? It always seems to be folks from the same source, and I’m wondering if you’re another player confused about the fact Balmung is an unofficial RP server. (This kind of lowkey harassment crap is actually why we don’t HAVE official RP servers, I hear.) If you can’t handle seeing an NPC lookalike minding their own business, you must need a fainting couch whenever you see an FFXIVcryptid.
In either case, it’s not my problem. It’s yours. I don’t roleplay on this character, but I could if I wanted! It isn’t your call what I do with my friends in our vidya games. Because seriously, if it’ll soothe your indignation, I promise you that even on my OCs I would have no desire to interact with your oh-so-original mead-drinking half-clad “barbarian”. Welcome to the block list! You should try it sometime. \o/
I don’t understand the point of even doing that. We work hard to recreate these toons, a few snobby shitlords isn’t going to magically make us decide to change. We already avoid rp hubs and stay far away from rp events and as stated before, we don’t even use the rp tag either.
I’ve been on Balmung since ff14 relaunched, and we spent a lot of time even getting a house dedicated to NPCs, we ain’t going anywhere lol.
