Everytime I go to upload this I remember a character I forgot. OH WELL.
Me and Tara haven spoken about doing an ask blog sort of thing (Tegaki lol) based on One Piece for ages, but we always run into one problem.
We play so many characters, who do we even choose?
And that’s why it stays in Open Canvas.
Also Tara is terrible for forgetting Ace on her list but I’m too lazy to resave this. And I can think of two right now I forgot but WHATEVER. D:
Over the Bronycon weekend, I needed to combine “medieval” and “butterflies” for a pony concept. I’m amazed I was conscious enough to. Pencils and design by me, colors by Sunshine!

Showcasing how the collab work flow tends to go.
For this panel I came up with the basic idea, Tara scripted it, I rough storyboarded it, rough sketched it, Tara red lined it, then I did the rest.
Not always how the work load falls, it can be the exact opposite within the same entry. For this entry in particular its pretty even, this panel just needed more of my input.
Last art lesson for the night. Unfortunately, it’s one you’ve heard before.
Never do this. It’s one thing to take inspiration, it’s another to trace, and it’s even worse to tell the original artist you did not trace even though way too much lines up to be a coincidence.
Mistakes are made. What you need to do is own them.
And PLEASE, do not do this and try to sell it. You are literally robbing the artist who inspired you. Of money, of exposure, of respect. Don’t do it.
This is why a lot of people are annoyed at my new dA watermarks. :p Too bad this one didn’t go over her face.
