Work in progress. Taking one of my and Kristybob’s oC RP characters and making them into a Gem, modeled after Septarian, also known as Dragonstone. I have three pounds of the stuff in my collection, and I love it! So a sort of IRL fusion here. :p
Hm, thinking some more. Nothing solid, just musing to myself.
Word that keeps coming up in the sketches and rps with Tara for both Discord, Scorpan and Tirek is “Monster,” with emphasis on identity.
Choices between forcefully taking and changing the rules to only fit you, or sacrificing how you act to fit someone else’s.
Tirek seeing anything else as an enemy and against him, further emphasized by his brother betraying him and befriending a pony.
To him, Discord is just as weak and not worth trusting since he already befriended a pony as well. Discord sacrificed who he was originally to become friends with them and was easily swayed, only really proving Tirek’s point.
Discord, having a similar past of imprisonment to a degree can emphasize and understand Tirek’s words of freedom. Reformed Discord cannot express himself fully like he used to. (Problem being both of them were harmful in how they did that.)
Tirek refuses to be “ruled” by any sort of friendship. It is weakness, and he used it against Discord AND Twilight.
RPing with Tarabob, exploring Scorpan and Tirek in OpenCanvas RP. New versions of them allow way more freedom with interpretation at least, fun fun. (Playing Tirek, Tara playing Scorpan)
Since someone asked, I pretty exclusively RP in private on Opencanvas. I don’t even text RP anymore and I don’t use any other service. No forums, no sites, just Opencanvas shenanigans. o3o
Everytime I go to upload this I remember a character I forgot. OH WELL.
Me and Tara haven spoken about doing an ask blog sort of thing (Tegaki lol) based on One Piece for ages, but we always run into one problem.
We play so many characters, who do we even choose?
And that’s why it stays in Open Canvas.
Also Tara is terrible for forgetting Ace on her list but I’m too lazy to resave this. And I can think of two right now I forgot but WHATEVER. D:
