I don’t know why this is so funny to me. When I work on BGs I’ll block out details in really rough colors and go over several passes to refine it. To save time I’ll turn the layer that has characters and a black panel box to show how much of it I need to detail it out so parts of the BG never get touched up.
This I realize how rough my rough drafts are and it makes me laugh.
