People will agree with you because maybe….just maybe….they have their own opinion that it’s fucked up too! Except no, let’s just call them a “pity party”! Generalizations are only bad when Tenaflyviper’s not doing it!

Remember that time you told me “my kind of feminist” didn’t understand male abuse? Let me tell you about the blood clots my Dad almost died from because my mother beat him with my great aunt’s cane! Good times, good times. What’s that? You didn’t RESEARCH before you spouted off at my dA? You ASSUMED? Gasp!

Dehumanizing and classifying others based on limited evidence and/or extreme minority behavior will put your personal insecurities on display in such a grandiose manner that you’ll have self-absorbed teenage girls and sexually-insecure college-age guys flocking to worship at your feet!

It can’t possibly be because glorifying abuse is disgusting! It’s about OUR insecurities? Hey, remember that time you called a survivor an idiot and a straw feminist because she opposed Molestia? Hilarious! Also, by all means, generalize some more, because only the sexually-insecure and self-absorbed would be squicked by rape jokes! Remember, it’s only generalization if SOMEONE ELSE does it!

Don’t view groups of people as being comprised of individuals from all walks of life, just the same as any other human beings you might encounter in your daily life!  Limit your view of them to only the negative traits that you’ve managed to cherry pick from biased and questionable sources!  Sensationalism - that’s what sells!

Hentai obviously proves fiction is not a symptom of real life attitudes because they have the less reported rapes than the US! Never mind the sex slavery and women’s only trains to try to curb horrifyingly prevalent assaults, it’s the numbers that count, and that’s all I’m quoting! /mlp/ are still great people even though they dox a minor and laugh as they draw rape porn of her OC!

Who needs human empathy as long as you’re pop-pop-popular?

Who needs human empathy when you can strangely not ignore yet another opinion as you tell others to ignore what bothers them?

Taking valuable time out of your life to mindlessly spread your own iniquitous resentment against a single fan base that has no justifiable impact on your existence is totally cool!

It’s totally cool to only address the thoughts of survivors on one side! The others are “idiots” and “straw feminists” and should not feel comfortable in the fandom! Who cares if consensual relationships can be funny? It’s gotta be rape, and we gotta nudge-nudge wink-wink that oh-so-funny rapist!

And hey - you can even make yourself feel important by taking that same middle-school behavior, and disguising it as “activism”!

And hey! Guess what? Your bullshit that would hurt people in real life also hurts them when they’re typing on a computer! Go figure! I wonder why the other survivors of abuse that thanked me for speaking out on this shit don’t feel safe in this internet space. Hm!.

Someone needs to go back to school, indeed.Get off your high horse, lady. You’re as much of a hypocrite as ANYONE you try to single out in this argument, including the minor you relentlessly criticize.

It’s amazing how that image you drew could be changed to your brave  buds at /mlp/ who laughed as they bullied and baited and be actually funny! And what a sick irony the joke you copied it from was about bullying women.

I’m astounded that you still expect anyone to take you seriously.

If you and your ilk spent even a fraction of the time you use to not only complain on your blogs to the same handful of people (as well as create drawings that have zero impact on anyone’s lives) to actually do something that mattered to real victims, maybe “rape culture” wouldn’t have already, sadly, been turned into a complete and utter joke.

I like how you only choose to address anything in context of the real world when you can’t cope with being called out on being completely useless to a legitimate cause.

I’m sure victims everywhere in the world are totally benefitting from you focusing your rage on a minority of extremists in a single fan base.  Very helpful.  Really making a difference in the world.

Let me know when you’ve done anything anyone besides yourself can be grateful for.

Oh, remember that time you said I didn’t read your rants thoroughly? Let me repeat: since my time with my Batman blog and Cupidite, I have had fellow survivors of abuse and survivors of sexual assault thank me for speaking out on this because the fandom was so unwelcoming. THEY matter. Even if it had only been one or two people, THEY MATTER. Or do you just deem them “idiots” as well, like you did Kriscastle, because they don’t see it your way?

How laughable you waste your time railing against a minor with your art, while mine has actually made some feel less isolated among the el-oh-el edgy rape jokes.

You made a bunch of people who baited and bullied a minor feel big. Go you. And if you don’t “take me seriously”, as you generalize and use big words to say absolutely jack, as you selectively mock survivors that don’t agree with you, thank goodness. It means I’m doing something right.

By the by, have you seen us lately when we make our Food Bank donations? 115 pounds once, 85 another, 155 another, this month’s is in the car for dropoff. What’s that? You didn’t research again? Oh darn.

Only time I don’t take Tara seriously is when she’s nerding out over something so guess you ARE generalizing.

Also helping a victim -matters-. Even if its just making them comfortable. Even if its just a simple laugh. Even if its just one.
