tbh when people say vanilla was the best, I feel like what the mean is the community. Having to rely on Guildies and fellow server players to run things, mage and warlock portals meaning a LOT more, CC being EXTREMELY important in lowbie dungeons, and the fact you character HAD to go out in the world gave it a much different feel. This also meant if you were a huge asshole, the server tended to know and avoided you for groups.

LFG was a godsend, especially now that I’m older and time management is far different. 

Part of me is excited, the other part remembers I spent vanilla as a troll priest on an alliance dominated PVP server. :(

Also sitting in org looking for a DPs with actual AoE for BRD for two hours. I don’t miss that.

Or trying to solo anything as a healer..

Drinking water before every pull, wanding stuff when oom–
