are these headshots in reference to a game or show? They look cool however they are :D

Yes! They have been done in the style of a game called Betrayal at House on the Hill. (Though I added a little color to mine.)

The game is very fun, and as there are fifty different scenarios to play out, you essentially get a different game every time. Scenarios can range from the house flooding in a certain number of turns and in order to survive, you must make it to the attic, to thwarting the obsessed spirit of a jilted bride looking for her groom–and ready to take one of you instead.

The numbers you see there indicate how many dice you get to roll for anything requiring that trait. So for example, say, in order to escape a room, I need to make a Might check of 3. The dice are numbered 0-2. As the marker for Miss Heather here is on three, currently, that means I can roll three die, in hopes of beating that Might check of 3. As the game progresses, I can lose or gain die, which will increase or decrease the odds of me making my checks.

Different characters will start off with different strengths, meaning different numbers of dice you can roll. Some characters have more Might, some have more Knowledge, some have more Sanity, and some have more Speed (meaning the number of rooms you can travel in one turn).

Game Grumps does a wonderful playthrough of it!

pssst. expac it out.
