If anyone is feeling like they want to tell me “Thank you for your service” this Veteran’s Day...

It would be much more meaningful to me if you showed your thanks by reading or promoting my webcomic, Monster’s Garden, which is what I work on when I’m not on watch or on duty (or not having a massive art block). And yeah, I suppose folks wouldn’t think making a comic is comparable to the things I do in service for my country, but it still means a lot to me, personally. I’d rather be remembered for that before my service, because I feel it is a more positive thing, for me at least.

Monster’s Garden features the lingering scars and anxieties of a great and terrible war in the background to a monster’s journey to making a family out of a robot, a pair of human siblings, and a little dragon girl after living in solitude for so long. Each character has a inner battle with subjects like anxiety, depression, and trauma all the while an actually outer battle dealing with the affects to come about from the great war. It’s story about finding hope in the darkness.

It’s cute, it’s scary, it’s heartbreaking while also uplifting. Not really family friendly due to the horror and the crude language that comes up. But I hope it is a story anyone can enjoy.

Thanks for everything folks. I’d appreciate it.
