Hunkered down for the hurricane. Early this morning the river nearby was pretty swollen, so no telling how high it is now. Only seen small debris so far, wouldn’t be surprised if the road out is flooded out again.
Wind picked up a bit and enough to kill the power a second but neighborhood is still lit. Front has smaller branches littered about now, I think we’re gonna be lucky and the more severe part of the band is gonna miss us. Felt a heavy thud earlier though. I think of the back trees might have fallen. Already glad I parked my car by town hall lol. Our nieghborhood opens the field for parking since we got a ton of trees around here.
Lost power around midnight (Saw the transformer flash, oops), did a ton of reading instead, finished that FNAF book I had laying around. Came back recently and got my car. Found the tree that caused that thud. No major flooding or damage to my immediate area, worst I saw was part of the siding was hanging loose on a neighbor’s building. Lots and lots of small branches in the street, about it. Weird how a few hours west of us got hit much worse.
