Continuation of my AU idea  where Sans worked hard to become captain of the royal guard under Queen Toriel to protect his brother.  Papyrus is still a precious cinnamon roll but as much as he wants to believe the good in people, its been replaced with fear instead.

In this AU if you did a genocide run I’d imagine Sans would go first, and Papyrus would be the one at the end instead to judge you. If you were the monster he kept seeing in potential timelines he’d stack a bunch of very broken puzzles at the end because while he’s terrified, he has to try to stop you from getting to the Queen.
