Me and beth were discussing SU and she mentioned something that makes sense.

The more in-sync a fusion is, the more humanoid they appear. Garnet didn’t even appear like a fusion because of it. No extra arms, legs, nothing. Opal had extra arms, Sugalite was a bit unstable, and Alexandrite was a huge mess.

So is that why Garnet was so happy to see Stevonnie?
Stevonnie looked completely humanoid, no extra limbs or anything. A perfect fusion.
