yeah I do stuff like that all the time. it helps to a degree. I also randomly so full body/arm stretches through the shift but it can only so so much. I can tell my legs are building up some form of resistance, but my arms are at the mercy of whatever section I’m at.
left arm is only sore from the more heavy lifting, but the smaller boxes I have to manually rip open and cut for display wreck havoc.
TLDR: some companies use thicker cardboard with glue AND I HATE THEM FOR IT, LOOKING AT YOU GERBER. :l
