None of these people were there for when John Boyega was attacked just for being a black man in a trailer, or when Daisy (who also has anxiety) was run off IG bc reylos couldn’t stop being racist in the comments abt Finn + Rey, or when Kellie Marie Tran experienced racism for being Asian.

It’s almost like this “support mentally ill people” comes with “as long as they’re white men” or something

holy shit what the fuck??? There is absolutely no reason to put one over the other, neither holds more importance over the other. One person’s mental illness struggles do not hold more importance over another’s?! Of course it’s completely not okay the way that other sw actors (especially poc) have been treated, and the way their mental health is disregarded, but it in no way excuses or justifies the pointless, petty insults that are constantly being thrown at Adam Driver. I’ve said this before and I’ll say it again. Adam Driver does not equate to his character Kylo Ren, and the character Kylo Ren does not equate to r*ylo, or the actions of people who want r*ylo to happen!! None of these people deserve some of the treatment they have received. All of these actors deserve kindness and consideration.  

You know, I am not even in the Star Wars fandom, but I’ve seen this same thing on my dash multiple times from people I thought had better sense. So read what @lihgtsabers said here, guys, and maybe think about it? Because I know you can do better than this shit. jfc are you even serious right now. I’m not even in the Star Wars fandom, but I’ve seen the backlash at the racists and bullies that have attacked the cast and film. Saying it didn’t happen looks a lot like just trying to slap a cover on a glaring hypocrisy. Because of a fictional ship, no really, are you serious right now

Adam Driver is an actor. Star Wars doesn’t exist. Are you saying “support the mentally ill UNLESS they’re white men”? Because of a ship no less. A. Fictional. Fucking. Ship.

I love the way OP put anxiety in quotes like it isn’t a legitimate thing. Or only legitimate if they like a pretend character I guess? 

Oh yeah, and btw having ANXIETY fucking sucks.  Know what else fucking sucks? People who act like it’s fake.
