I feel like I need to clarify something about how I feel about Discord x Celestia.
Its not that I don’t like it just because of the characters–on the contrary. There are instances of it I really like and enjoy–but that’s the issue. Instances, as in only a few examples.
I DON’T like it when its portrayed with non-con. Or when Celestia is simplified down as an object to be obtained, tamed, or won. Or when Discord’s character is twisted into an abusive active-controlling dominant figure. I REALLY REALLY don’t like when that sort of behavior is framed as “sexy” or “positive." It sends off SO MANY red flags when people assume a yes gained through threats is a perfect example of consent and seen as romantic. Thus why I stay away from the pairing and filter in only a small fraction of it on my dashboard.
I understand how awesome and amazing a story about tragedy and pain is, I REALLY DO, but I just do not care for taking it that route. If you do, you are making Discord a true monster, not something to be held up as desirable and should not be portrayed as such.
You can show how horrific no consent is in much more subtle ways. In fact, the whole concept of the love poison is the very theme of our story for that REASON. We don’t need to show Discord being abusive and controlling to show how horrifying that entire scenario IS.
As far as I could understand Paradox belongs to you right? :)

As glad as Sunshine and I are that you enjoy Paradox, I’m afraid we’re going to have to say no. Not only is Paradox the mascot of Discorderlyconduct, but a lot of blog canon is riding on those tiny little wings. Thanks for understanding!

But since the ep is literally titled three’s a crowd I’m pretty sure Cadance will have a big role. Like I said earlier, Discord is practically a 10 year old so it’ll probably be of him whining for more attention. He’s the 3rd wheel. 6_9
sunshine your discord is like the 1 discord I can stand congrats you get a trophy. That’s probably because you tend to actually have other characters get sick of his shit whereas on the show the ponies put up with his trash behaviour for absolutely no reason and I get really fed up of him prancing around the screen getting away with being an insufferable little shitbag with no positive aspects at all >:T
I just want to see Fluttershy kick discord over into a puddle and then laugh at him. I can deal with bratty characters as long as the other characters call them out on it and bring them down a peg sometimes. If they don’t then I just get frustrated this is why I struggled with dangan ronpa too uuurrgghhh pulls own hair
spoiler: I actually wrote the season finale of S4 of mlp. All the ponies turn into their rainbow forms and then they all take turns bullying discord and telling him he’s a jerk until he cries

Maybe it’s thanks to a fanfic I read last year, but looking at your Bray and Grogar, I can’t help but picture their relationship like that between Smee and Captain Hook in Robin Williams’ “Hook” film. You know, kind of like they need each other, you aren’t sure whether they are in a relationship or not, and periodically, one of them becomes depressive enough that the other has to stop them from doing very stupid things.
Also, Grogar looks like he’s blasting the Eye of Sauron there. I can just hear the fell “Eeeeeeeeeeeeeeee…..” coming from Sauron’s non-existent mouth.

If they’re doing the full on ‘Q’ thing, I hope they eventually incorporate other De Lancie characters, like Donald Margolis from “Breaking Bad” for example.
