Vampire the Masquerade: Bloodlines fanart. I love this game way more than I should. I really wish a sequel would come out, they have so much awesome lore. Like if they tapped more into the werewolf, wraith, mage, hunter, changling, etc etc lore would be so fantastic. Shame the mmo based on the universe got canned. :/

the fact that they don’t just look similar, they look EXACTLY THE SAME aside from color swaps
yeah i’m pretty sure there’s no group of related women in the world who’s faces would overlay perfectly like that (except in the case of identical siblings)
I got three family pictures - one of my grandmother, one of my mother and one of myself of when we’re each between the ages of 2 and 4.
We look exactly alike to the point of me asking when the first two were taken because I didn’t remember them.
This actually can happen in families. I once confused a picture of myself for a picture of my mom and asked her why she was wearing my sweatshirt in the picture.
I have plenty of family members that look similiar, specially in younger pics. But that’s when you’re comparing pics when they’re all compared at a similar age. I mean Elsa and Anna are about the same age, so free pass there–but their mom looks 19.

La Muerte (the character) is based on the Mexican Catrinas used during the Day of the Dead, and many women who dress up as the Catrina draw the nose holes on their noses like that to emulate the skull through make-up along with the colorful markings. The sugar coating on the “skin” is to show that La Muerte is made of candy, which emulates the candy skulls that are made for the festival of the Day of the Dead, and the candy skulls have those colorful markings on them as well. It’s also cool to notice the Cempasúchil flowers on her dress and hat, which are always present during the festival.
These are some of the reasons as to why I have mad respect for the details that are being given to these characters <3
