I try not to sound obnoxious but a lot people are worried about the state of the Discord blog
No, seriously, the updates were a joint effort between Tara and myself that took us 40+ hours, lots of drafts and story revisions and—yeah. Drawing for me has been rare except these past weeks because I was bedridden mostly. What has essentially become a full-time retail job drains me creatively. I don’t have the time or energy anymore, and Tara can’t be expected to do it alone. Discorderly Conduct is very much our personal vision of the characters and enjoying our synergy together. It isn’t something we’d ever “hire out” to anyone else.
I don’t like stamping a project as dead because sometimes I do jump back into lil’ projects, but DC seems unlikely. Does that mean we hate MLP and Discord and the stories? Nah. I just got other things that interest me atm. Fluttershyhi is a side project that takes much less time that I don’t feel stressed to work on so that’s the most likely thing right now.
And even then–I’m back to work now. So probably going to be drawing less again. *shrug*
