There is seriously no MMO I find as epic as FFXIV, here’s a good example of why.
Holy shit, no kidding. This whole thing is bringing back so many memories of different media, all put together in a fanstasmagorical kaleidoscope dream. Like, watching this is like watching the battle against the Archdemon Apollyon in Pilgrim’s Progress, while the music, so much like music I listened to years and years ago, evokes heavenly choirs of angels dressed in angelic carnival attire, are watching and singing, rocking out to tribalistic folk rock from beyond the circling veil of hellfire to give encouragement to the pilgrim within it.
I have GOT to get a hold of the soundtrack to this game, this stuff is absolutely amazing to listen to and be inspired by.
the sound track is huge but awesome. I got the before the fall collection and that alone is 4.3 hours long
If it’s anything like the video above, or even better, anything at all like the glory that is/was the Final Fantasy 9 soundtrack, then I DEFINITELY need to look into it. I mean, that’s the one with the “Good Kind Moggle-Mog” song right? That one alone is aces in my book.

So Sunshine and I were running dungeons to level up our recreations of Hildibrand and Briardien when the tank DCed and we had to wait for a new one, so we just stopped and idled.

Also, riding to adventure on a chocobo built for two. Sunshine is working on the right glasses, but I am salty as hell I can only wear Jandelaine’s NPC gear as a Weaver. :|
