Time to top off this fresh wave of bullshit with some fun facts about the charming hypocrites trolling this tag, now in convenient BULLET POINT FORM!
The antis lie about the shippers here every time. Every time. They erase real identities over a fictional character. Although many shippers here are members of the LGBTQIA community (by the way, notice how the community is more than just one letter? I know! I was shocked too!) and are shipping another queer headcanon, the antis call them str8s or imply they are nothing more than heterosexual bigots, because nothing spells out reason and logic like a good strawman argument. Even the lesbian shippers here have been called liars and traitors. Can you imagine that shit? It’s too complex for antis to tell the truth when a David and Goliath narrative is so much more sympathetic to their bullying. It’s too complex to consider there are more letters in the community besides L. It’s WAY too complex for them to realize that they are the ones doing the erasing. But they don’t like a fictional pairing, so they’re allowed, I guess.
The antis never admit that the creators of the show have drawn Pearl with men before, because it makes a bisexual or pan headcanon perfectly plausible, and absolutely nothing, not logic, not another viewpoint, and surely not even the show’s own creators, shall impede their “because I said so.” Kinda how they will never accept Amethyst as genderfluid. They just keep screaming PEARL IS A LESBIAN in response to any other headcanon, the equivalent of a small, temperamental child throwing their hands over their ears and going, “LA LA LA CAN’T HEAR YOU LA LA LA!,” because anything else is str8 and gross. It can’t possibly be another marginalized identity enjoying a headcanon of their own. Or maybe it’s the bisexuals that they have a problem with? Anyone official who drew it obviously doesn’t work on the show anymore because they’re a dirty het, even though one is a actually a current writer, one is Rebecca Sugar herself, and the official blog reblogged the third with the tag of #waifu and called it “awesomely cute”. It’s like the creators know something the antis don’t. Shocking.
The antis, conversely, have absolutely no problem with headcanoning a canonly confirmed bisexual character as lesbian, because even if the writers show the character as enthusiastically interested in multiple genders, it could still be the compulsory heterosexuality somewhere outside the box, in the world of headcanon. No mobbing required for those headcanons. Only headcanoning an unconfirmed character who has been drawn with multiple genders is a clear act of erasure. Because they said so. And oh, how they will abuse you in that pretend person’s name.
The antis, in an effort to show that they don’t really have a problem with The Bisexuals, will trot out a bisexual who agrees with them, as a checkmate, like That One White Guy Who Totally Isn’t Racist Because He Has A Black Friend. But when lesbian shippers come forward, suddenly those lesbians do not speak for ALL lesbians. Or, again, they accuse them of being Fake Lesbians ™.
The antis will attack anyone they see bodyshaming characters with a righteous fury, except they do it themselves with Mayor Dewey all the time. Scratch that to “attack anyone they see bodyshaming characters they like”, I s’pose. It’s not hypocrisy then! Somehow.
The antis whine about being “dehumanized” while doing all of this if they are ever called out on it. Like this post. This post be called dehumanizing. Never mind the harassment they continually try to incite on the legit users of this tag. Never mind the real peoples’ identities they continue to shit on because they don’t like a cartoon ship. They are the ones under attack by “The Peweys”, not the shippers defending themselves against the deluge of anti bullshit in this tag. “The Peweys” are terrible, those big bad mean str8s out to pick on antis by–tagging their shit and drawing stuff antis don’t like. “The Peweys” make the antis come into the tag they hate, “The Peweys” personally come to their homes to keep them from blocking content that upsets the delicate anti constitution. The antis whine about shippers being “aggressive” while they relentlessly spam the tags with abuse.
The antis will declare stealing others’ art is bad, but will time and time again use art that isn’t theirs, without permission, without credit, to harrass the shippers who drew it.
The antis are all about abusing a bisexual artist shipping a bi headcanon for a character who has never been canonly established as gay, but they are nowhere to be found when canonly established bisexual characters are erased to be called lesbian. They’ll even reblog stuff that calls said characters gay. If antis do miraculously correct it, it’s politely worded in passing. Timidly, even. Maybe not call them lesbian? Please? Maybe? Bullying is reserved for the bisexuals that don’t know their place. I’d say you gotta wonder why, but it’s pretty damn obvious.

Also I guess if I don’t plaster and advertise my sexuality everywhere I’m immediately a homophobic hetero. Somehow me being upset over someone erasing my sexuality to make me seem a big bad makes me a “bitter loser,” but HOLY SHIT HOW DARE YOU HEADCANON PEARL AS BI, I’M MAKING A CALLOUT POST.

In the Underswap AU idea I had, the main thing was to switch around roles and jobs, but everyone retains their same personality. The circumstances however, would sometimes be vastly different.
Toriel had gone through a war, lost her home, and now lost her son. Not only that, she found out it was her other adopted son that ended up getting Asriel killed. She felt so utterly betrayed and disgusted, she couldn’t handle it anymore.
When she tells Asgore that she wanted to wipe out humanity, Asgore is visibly shaken. With the war, he was familier what that could do to someone. He’d seen those eyes before. He was fine if he was the one suffering, but he couldn’t bear seeing Toriel like this.
He breaks his trident smashing his “fight” button, embedding the bottom in the throne room. Not only did he refuse to fight Toriel about this, he permanently made it so he could never fight again. He flees, Toriel screaming that he was a miserable coward.
Toriel gives Gastor permission to do whatever it takes to acquire the souls.
Gastor’s power is accessing save data. He had a humanoid test dummy(used to test anti-human weapons) that a certain not-very-good-for-conversation ghost decided to haunt. With many tests, he found he could load any save file he wanted into the dummy, and the dummy would be a mirror of the human (LVL/EXP/Items) If Frisk makes it to the hallway he’d test them by loading thier own save into the dummy. Anything other that LVL 1 initiates a fight, difficulty based on level. If you were a genocide route, he’d tell you he’d seen the same darkness humans before and loads a level 20 file in instead.
Gastor uses the same dummy/robot to train Sans, the Royal Guard captain. Sans only knows the 7th child will be someone capable of horrid things (as Gastor proves with some of the files he can load) so this Sans is a tad more–
paranoid. Damn flower isn’t helping his case either. He can’t turn off his eye anymore because of the paranoia, thus needing the eye patch.
While Toriel Dreemurr is more closed off as queen, Asgore keeps the ruin’s door open. He can’t cook very well so he expanded his garden outside, so while there’s snow everywhere it looks more like spring by the door. Papyrus, a sentry, sees him eventually and they become friends. He calls him Mr.Claus (Yeah. he still thinks that. Oops) and learning of Asgore’s cooking issue, he asks the royal cook/mage Undyne (Tune in Undyne the Dining, a very popular TV show) to teach him how to cook.
Asgore personally asks Papyrus to help Frisk reach the castle. He knows what Toriel will probably do, but hopes these two can change things. Hope was something he could cling to after all these years.
Papyrus would end up being like a party member because subtlety isn’t something he quite understands, and wouldn’t just kinda follow behind. He’d be a tad more proactive.
Though here that would be a great idea.
Also Mettaton is the only ghost without a robot body in this AU. They hired extra help on the snail farm, and Snailpants still whines he never made it big in the city.

I mean how some bad eggs in the LiS fandom will call you lesbophobic for pointing out Max can have romantic interest with Warren or Chloe. Or mention the fact while Chloe obviously has a strong romantic feelings for Rachel, she mentioned boy toys in her past.
Steven universe too. People treating Greg like his only purpose was to make children, Rose didn’t really love him. Christ that’s more fucked up when you consider who Greg and Steven are based on Rebecca Sugar’s father and brother.
Same for Korra and Asami. They had sexual and romantic attraction to male and female. Creators even outright stated they were BISEXUAL. Haha nope you’re homophobic if you say that! He was just a phase!
Shit another one that hits me a bit harder is Vidalia and Amethyst in Steven Universe. Vidalia has had confirmed 2 male partners, and is currently married to one. Could she be bi or pan? Yeah, sure. To stretch that to there’s no way she could love Fishtail and only uses him for the welfare of her kids (Deja fucking vu) and is in secret lesbians with Amethyst, though? Point out any of that (and that cheating is gross) and yeah, you guessed it, you’re a lesbophobe.
Amethyst is my favorite gem. I play her as asexual as a mirror to myself. So you can imagine how I must of felt to be told that platonic relationships were boring, and not REAL like a true romantic one.
Now imagine being bi or pan or any other invisible sexuality with people policing shit so black and white its just as suffocating as the opposite side of the spectrum.
